Thursday Doors, June 2

Since today Italia celebrates 70 years of being a republic, here are some more doors from Roma. There might be a passage among them, I was not particular. Or a window. Or – what is that, a lover flap?

One would think that after having taken so many doors photos, my levels would be level, but no. They are still all over the place and straightening images is a nightmare. But now you can see that this vertical Dyad theme was made for doors. Amore nailed it: the reason I like this theme so much is because every post opens like a book. ❤ Lover flap not required.

Viva la Repubblica!

What a great collection. I love how a bit of artwork can make a simple metal overhead door look nice. I also like that you included some of the windows/shutters. They are very interesting.

    1. Thanks, Dan. Truth be told, we were rushing so much that in a few cases I clicked and only after realised that was no door at all.

Another awesome collection this week. For me the intricate iron work on #37/38 makes it the winner.
