We’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden.
Sorry, not sorry, but the best gardens in Piran and in Bežigrad, Ljubljana are taken. These photos are from the latter. My uncle is the curator.
First my contribution for this week’s Monochrome Madness challenge. I find all the collected photographs this week especially happy-making. Click on the link at the end of this post and see for yourself. And if you wish to send in your own, next week’s theme is “high”.
Here is first the above photo as taken and then some more images from the tour of the garden as taken twenty days ago until we return for our annual tarok card tournament. More in captions. Click on the photos to made them grow just like lettuce.

Claudia, go ahead and say it. 😉 And when you learn to play tarok, you’ll be invited to our tournament. (You can come anyway.)

Thank you! I looked up the rules and I have the feeling that the other players would be chasing me down the street and throwing things at me – I am terrible at games like this that require strategy, I get confused, come up with plays at random, and earn the dark looks from my partners. I like the location for the card tournament very much, though, and I appreciate the invitation and I hope we’ll hear about the tournament?

Hehe, you got all this in a very short time and it’s very spot on, dark looks and all. Instead of playing you could just hang around gathering moments to be used later in your art. 🙂 And you could donate a piece for first prize: this is an annual event and here is the post about the last tournament from my first blog. The winner got art!

“Tournament” in my language is “Turnir” 🙂

Beautiful gardens and I think the plants in question in photo six are beans.
