MM 3-11: Monochrome Garden Madness

We’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden.

Sorry, not sorry, but the best gardens in Piran and in Bežigrad, Ljubljana are taken. These photos are from the latter. My uncle is the curator.

First my contribution for this week’s Monochrome Madness challenge. I find all the collected photographs this week especially happy-making. Click on the link at the end of this post and see for yourself. And if you wish to send in your own, next week’s theme is “high”.

Here is first the above photo as taken and then some more images from the tour of the garden as taken twenty days ago until we return for our annual tarok card tournament. More in captions. Click on the photos to made them grow just like lettuce.

I was wondering if this image could work in monochrome and I think it can.

Jasmine and … you know it (don’t know the English word for these).

Once my grandfather tied a red carnation on this jasmine and entertained garden party guests by swearing it grew this way by itself.

A climbing tree if one is young.
