I visited two lakes during our Slovenia vacation. Lake Bled is more famous of the two and it can wait a bit. This is Lake Zbilje, artificially built but far from showing it, since it’s teeming with bird and tourist life. Might be the two go hand in hand.
A chapel by the lake. If you study the plants surrounding it, you might realise it’s a miniature.
Amore is grinning… (thanks for this photo, Vera!)
… because this was not us.
“Swan in the oven” was how my poet friend wished to call his first book of poetry.
Three little ducks.
Sun playing with light.
They were all on the other side of the lake at first.
Then the babies came first.
Family and friends.
Another flyer incoming.
It’s the one black and white duck. Dare call it monochrome?
Repeat of the only sprint Bolt could never win.
First monochrome. Playing with light and swan.
The chosen photo as taken.
Cropped and turned MM-friendly. This was just before those two swans took off and landed before us. All in all, a peaceful afternoon. (Photo improves considerably by clicking on it.)
