The limit of my belief-system, that is. What is beyond, I don’t (wish to) know. And yet sometimes it gets a little flaunty. Here are ten minutes of yesterday.
The first thing I saw.
The light was going in two directions.
This was in the opposite, eastward-looking sky.
It was going too fast for me to play with the settings. Dusk/dawn turns everything purple.
I tried to capture the left-hand ray but it didn’t wish to be focused on.
Just happy that it was not a fire causing this.
Neither a tornado.
Just a sun setting underneath the clouds.
If you believe it.
All finished now. Thanks for the lightshow! We must do it again!
Wow MMM … especially that one photo where it really did look like a major forest fire burning out of control!
… and what’s with the orange clouds-on-fire in the east sky during a sunset?!! I’ve never seen that before.
You certainly had a beautiful sunset to work with!
Thank you, Joanne. It was truly insane. I saw this reflection thing in the past, at least I think it’s a reflection. I’d never believe such colours could be a result of anything other than fire.

Those are insanely beautiful. I actually feel spiritually moved. I can’t even imagine what it was like in person.

🙂 Glad to hear that, Tom. In person was so that I forgot to breathe.

One of those sunsets that would look like a mistake if you tried to paint it!

Hehe, Judith, that’s right, mistake or some sort of a trick. It had a hidden camera feel.

Beautiful but implausible.
