A whole lot of Roma deo-door-ants to get rid of the bad smell.

Just a few observations on Election day (sorry, door lovers, I’ll be brief, I just don’t wish to write a separate post for this):

1. There were a whole lot of journalists, newscasters and reporters drinking alcohol on air that day. I remember when my father, back when he was on TV, had a plan to drink live and then do the alco-test, but he was told that it was illegal. Probably considering the size of him the test would be negative and the kids would get a wrong impression. What does a horde of public personas getting drunk in prime time say to the nation (except in California where they can now roll them up and pass them – I wonder if anybody did that live on TV)?
2. There were a whole lot of people at a loss how to break the news to their children. I find this really touching, but a sign of denial as well – obviously American people indeed live divided existence as it is. There is one half, and then there are the Others. (No matter how there were more of those who voted for her. I refuse to study American election system because it only pisses me off, but – really?? The last time I was similarly pissed off was when Bush won in Florida. That time more people voted against him too. These things cause the disturbance in the force.)
3. I ask together with these parents, and the entire world: Where are all these people who voted for Trump? Were they hiding under the bush and suddenly stepped up to show their displeasure? Do they blog? Do they have any reason to vote for him other than rock the boat? How pissed off will they be when they realise it was all pre-election posing and he only made himself sound just like them in order to deploy them? And lastly: like some who voted for Brexit said the next day – are they sorry? Were they only joking too? Because frankly, that’s the only logical explanation.

The same door, just open, via Google Maps which I found when I came to have a look at street names. Idea! Doorscursions could be planned this way too! You see an interesting door on Street View and then go out in the wild to see if it still stands!
