We conclude the Vetulonia trilogy with the obligatory Thursday door post.
First we had a look inside the Etruscan museum, then we went outside, and now it’s door time. Plus a window, plus a cat. Plus cemetery. Some sky. Parents. It was a good day.
Museum entrance: dad took care of everything.
The view from the entrance.
Vetulonia cemetery.
I guess these are also a kind of doors.
Hm, what about some windows?
Lots of property on sale.
Including this door with the cat compartment that I’ve showed you already.
Next to it is the only working bar.
Sometimes it’s stuff by a door that draws attention.
Such as this flower pot holder.
A trio of brown doors.
Eye-catching colour code.
A door that was: playing hide and seek with the Etruscans.
Goodbye, Vetulonia, your doors and your mysteries.
This time it’s all the green shutters that win the day for me – and that includes the little green shutters on the mailbox outside the featured wood door 🙂
I especially liked the photo with the laundry hanging outside the window. The casualness of this scene really appeals to me … not to mention the cleverness of a clothesline outside an upper window 🙂
Although weathered, I love that green door the most! An you have such a good eye for details!
Now I’m quickly off the computer today till late at night to celebrate Thanksgiving at my daughter’s house. Tada, have a happy day:)
I’d love to see the Etruscan Museum and I’d love to see a bar working. 🙂 Hee, hee. Haven’t had enough food to dull my crazy sense of grammatical humor. Happy Thursday.
Another great tour with great door finds. While that mail box was a nice touch I had to do a double take on photo #7; the clothes hanging out to dry below the window resembles a shape of a cow (its just me looking at things with an open imagination). 🙂
Hahha, Gordon, I’ve been staring at that photo for a while now but no cow is forthcoming. Still I applaud your imagination. May I invite you to view my previous post with many more hanging laundry photos to see if you can spot any other animal. 😉 Thank you!

Thanks, Joanne. They are precise and stylish, aren’t they, the Italians. 🙂 As for laundry, did you see the bunch of laundry I hung out yesterday? 😉

Now I’m going to have to go looking!
I’m so hopelessly behind right now. I miss a couple of days and my mailbox starts to bury me alive!

Beautiful photos. The dog always steals my heart, though. The entrance wouldn’t be the same without him.

Hihi, you see now how it is with Maddie and why she should be in every post? 🙂 But yes, he is stealing mine as well.
