cucinare, gallery, now, own photos Baccanale Posted by Manja Maksimovič on December 28, 2016 The first day in Piran I spent in its neighbours Portorož (Portorose) and Lucija. It happens. Something completely different. “She doesn’t seem such a lisca,” he said. It means “fish-bone” in Italian. “For sure.” Back to our favourite fish canteen, “Ribja kantina”. That “piovra” gets to me every time… Next time we’ll say something. “All the life’s sweet joys.” Photo: a © signature mmm production Share this:TwitterFacebookLike Loading... Related
The marina and the sculpture are great, but I’ll have the fish, please.

We didn’t make it to Piran last time we were in Slovenia. Looks beautiful. I would love to go back there someday.

Oh yes, intention is half way there. 🙂 This is not quite Piran though but the neighbours within walking distance. The entire Slovenian coast is barely over 40 km.

SMSW, they don’t like to hear that over there… 😉 They even say that “Trst je naš”, which means Trieste is ours. 😀 And thank you!

I prefer to think that we all look as we are, different from each other. No matter how Italians are kings of style. 😀

Oh, I meant the scenery, not the people! Though Italians ARE the kings of style, I’ll give you that! 😉
