Love the bridge photos. Curious about the Franciscan church. How old is it, do you know? Very different architecture from the cathedrals of later centuries.

    1. Thank you, Susanne, good to see you around. “Built between 1646 and 1660” – far from expert that’s why I’ll let Wiki tell you more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franciscan_Church_of_the_Annunciation

    1. Thanks, Jan! In the night it becomes obvious that there is also an illuminated egg and some sperm. The lighting designer confirmed it!

  5. I especially like the compositions and the dancing light of the photographs with the three bridges. And oh that blue, blue sky that frames the France Prešeren and ‘guy on the top’ statues. I haven’t seen a sky like that since leaving Australia.

    1. Thank you, Lisa. I see that we need to appreciate our blue sky a bit more and not take it for granted. But how do you mean, since Australia? You are sailing!

      1. Left Australia in July and sailed to the island nation of Indonesia where we experienced plenty of Moored on a marina and currently shuttling between Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Singapore where we can count on rain daily ☔️

    1. True. It was for me. I needed an uplifting duck photo for myself. Better now.
