…Or Klu in Asia 4. Sister went to Thailand and Laos, and kept an eye on the doors for me and all Thursday Doors lovers around the world.
Here is the fourth and last part of sister’s photos from her first Asian travel which she graciously let me handle. Sometimes it’s not a door as such but more like a window or another kind of opening. Thank you so much, sis, next time together. Cornwall is close…

Klu in Asia 2: Temples and Buddhas.
Klu in Asia 3: People, symbols and (non)coincidental inscriptions
Thai door ways are great. Have you tried a tilt shift lens or altering the perspective in Lightroom or something similar?

It is what it is, Ian, namely my sister’s vacation pics. And I like her perspective just fine. 🙂

They are beautifully ornate. I could get lost in the detail of each one. I’m guessing your sister had a wonderful trip! 🙂

What fun to see a part of the world I’m probably never going to visit in person. Thanks to your sister for the great shots. BTW, did you change your blog theme again?

Thanks in her name, Janet. No, I haven’t changed it, but probably you mostly see my Thursday door posts and they are usually set in the other, split-screen format. This theme (Dyad) supports only two formats and this is the second.

Doors, doorways, entrances, shutters, I think they all work and these are wonderful examples.

Thank you very much, Dan! Not often I see Asian doors on Thursdays even though there seems to be a door kingdom there.

You’ve got your sister well trained on door hunting. This is a wonderful selection.

Hehe, thank you, Judith, but she suggested it herself. 🙂 I love it when it rubs off.

It’s the vibrant colours that draw me in, and then I stay to admire the intricate detail work. This must have been an amazing trip 🙂

Just stunning. And nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. Don’t know that I’ll ever get to this part of the world so thank you for sharing your pictures here.

I’ve prob told you this already, but a friend of mine lived in Laos for years and I was always planning on visiting her…but never did! Now she’s moved on already. These photos make me wish I’d gone there! So much to photograph!

Oh, you can still go, SMSW! But too bad you missed a chance of an insider.

Guess you told everyone in your family about Thurs. Doors:):) Nice of your sister she let you borrow her pics! Did you change blog backgrounds, or is this a customization?

Haha, Jesh, I have indeed and they are quick to catch on. True, she gave me all photos and let me choose, very kind of her. As for the theme, no, it’s still the Dyad theme, but this is the other one of the two available formats. For the doors I usually use the split-screen format which you are probably used to.
