Piran at dusk

I had a hunch about that dusk… Shall we call it pre-planning?

Today I found a set of photography pointers that I didn’t hate. No, hate is too strong a word, I usually just skip them and think – maybe, one day, when I start to pay attention to how other people do it. I feel similar about instructions on how to write.

But these are not cocky at all and equipped with such a photo that you can say just – yep… all there. Here is Bruno and his magic tricks. And I’ll see to it that there is something in the forefront of my images and that my light diagram (pardon, histogram) doesn’t touch either the left or the right wall (did you know about that?).

Just maybe not quite yet. 😉

These were taken in the summer (ADD-IT: what am I talking about? It was between last Christmas and New Year’s Eve!) by my faithful “see and click” approach (“point and shoot” sounds too military). Either you think about it, or you don’t think at all and let your glance take you where it wants to.

Writing goes the same way. But if one is to write a lengthy piece, I guess some pre-planning is in order, just so you don’t throw away hours of writing and bursts of imagination. Jury still out. Meanwhile, I’ll keep clicking.

I have a feeling that clicking on the first photo to open the gallery improves the viewing experience.
