Happy Women’s Day 🙂
Beautiful selection! Most of these are not here, or … they’re different types than here… And in the case of rosemary, it doesn’t outlive the freeze, so it never lives long enough to bloom.
Oh, Maggie, thanks for playing the guess game but judging from the online photos, it’s not a match. Those are indeed apples, as in fruit, whereas my golden balls appear hollow and are much smaller than any apple I’ve ever seen. But I haven’t held one yet, just been admiring from afar.
Great, I love knowing this! I often see that some of my posts get shared on FB but nobody ever tells me about it so that I could see. 🙂 That’s why I really appreciate you telling me and I will find you there. Thank you!

😀 Translation of the comment by my fact-conscious father above: “Of the trees the first to bloom are almonds.” Grazie!

Haha, Pike, compared to you probably yes. 🙂 But it still gets quite cold when the sun is not out.

Crab apples are quite small sometimes, maybe the size of a pea. But yes, they are not hollow. Oh well, I tried… 🙂

Bees follow flowers, no? What do they do in Finland? Wait until they are begged? Hihihihi, you caused a giggle-fit with your comments. 😀

Bees only appear in summer here, spring must be too cold to wake them from hybernation! ❄️

Amore just told me they need 9 degrees C or more. He knows the strangest things.

Well, the past two Midsummers it’s snowed so that explains it! 🙂
