  3. I love those vivid red poppy opportunist!

The lake with the grasses is lovely. You had a beautiful sky with great clouds that Sunday.

  4. “First poppies. All the next ones will be just a repeat.” -> food for thought!
    Lovely serene vibe

    1. Yes, it’s like with peaches. Or strawberries. At least it used to be – now they are available all year round but the taste is lost… Thanks, SMSW!

  5. Nice! And I see we both take our cameras everywhere… On Lisbon that means everyone from the tourist guide to the street vendor will address me in English and try to sell me stuff 🙂

    1. Hehe, yes, I do, more and more. But in the case of groceries it’s premeditated: I was sorry I didn’t have my camera often enough. There are some beggars in the parking lot sometimes, but they target everybody. Thank you for coming over!

      1. No, thank you for the pictures! Except the last one, which reminded me of grocery shopping in Switzerland, where a banana costs a zillion francs 🙂

      2. Hahhha. Yeah, I know. But it’s still better this than little little private shops closer to home, where a banana is two zillion francs. Plus, the lagoon!

  6. Ping! I’m giving you a manual pingback since the automatic ones don’t always seem to work 🙂 Just in case!

    1. I heart that ping! 🙂 (Even though the real one was working too, I just had to confirm it.) I’m glad I spurred you to think and do your post. This is what blogging is about, in my view. Thank you!

    1. Hehe, Vy, possibly, and so very tender too. Picking one kills it immediately.

  8. Beautiful! The flowers are just coming out in Vancouver and soon my entire street will erupt in cherry and plum blossoms. Unfortunately there won’t be any poppies though. Thanks for the follow by the way 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy the future content.

    1. Oh, thank you for coming over first so that I can see you exist. 🙂 However, it doesn’t show me that I’m following you, even though I know I visited you today and liked what I saw. Will amend. I’m glad you like poppies, there will be more and more.

It’s poppy season here too but our’s (California poppies) are orange-red. I’ll try to get a picture! Happy Poppy Season!

    1. Oh, yes, Jan, it’s a happy season indeed! I was in California but in December, and have never seen any other colour poppy. Are yours also so tender?
