Three cats want you to observe them fondly.
Every cat gets three snaps. The first one is a neighbour just around the corner, a little bestia-weary, even though he wouldn’t hurt it.
The second was caught in action next to the Orbetello lagoon. It looks it has found a shortcut (shortcat?) to the birds and the fish, or probably just the rodents.
And the third is an inhabitant of the house with my favourite door view by the train station. Bestia loves it but it just stares.

No no, only the first one lives close by, we know each other but not well. 🙂

Bestia, forgive me, but I’m SO a cat person. Nobody is perfect, I know 😂 (but Bestia is amazing, this is incontrovertible evidence).
My first cat looked exactly like the last one, white fur and green-eyed 😍

Hihi, Sara, it is what it is. 😉 I don’t know anything about cats, I’ve never had one. That’s why I only observe them from afar. 😀 And Bestia is also cautious, ever since two cats have attacked him unprovoked in Slovenia.

Oh God, poor Bestia!! Yes, Cats can be evil if they want to!
They’re definitely more indipendent and this is something I appreciate as I’m a free spirit myself. I love siames: they are really clever and social. They interact a lot with other animals, too, and that’s cool (and cute).

I’m a free spirit too and yet still prefer dogs. The last cat is really beautiful, I can imagine yours was too. By interacting you mean playing with them until they are almost dead? 😉

Haha, no! The siamese cat of my parents used to go play with the horse (!) of the neighbour. He purred at the horse and they literally cuddled (!!!) But he was precious ❤

Aw, nice! I met a new doggy today. His name is Lucifer and he’s a beautiful 4-month-old spotted Pitbull. He came to play in the yard with Sadie, who was, I thought, a bit snippy. I tried to tell her he was a baby, and only learning how to dog, but she didn’t seem to care. Still I’m sure she was nicer than any of the cats would have been. 😉

Haha, Lucifer! I guess she was a bit proprietorial. Anyway, I’m glad she has visitors. As for cats, I call my dog bestia but it’s the cats who are real beasts.

Thank you, Claudia. “Intrepid” is a nice-sounding word but I still need to google. it. 🙂 Love to be educated.

I think you yourself can be described in this way, too, human version, of course! It’s a good thing and I admire it and you.

Ohh, excellent, this is grand praise, if nothing else, this is one truly significant way to be for me. Thank you so much for saying it!

The last cat reminds me of my one and only kitty named “Pixie”, an all white terror of mice and robins when I was a child. She brought me dead gifts nearly every morning. I think she loved me or maybe she was warning me. “Mess with me, kid, and I’ll chew out your guts and lay you on the doorstep.”

Oh, Susanne, maybe this is the key difference between cat and dog people. Dog people do all we can to not have our pet kill anything or act like they would. 😀 I remember cringing when he feasted on crickets when a pup. (Hm… quite probably he’s still doing it! Bljaaak!) But this is a beauty of a cat for sure.

The 2nd cat certainly caught my attention. He’s a busy little hunter 🙂

Oh yes, Joanne. I was quite a bit away and he looked right at me. This road is where I drove to the supermarket, it’s not super busy but still not a safe place for cats… He didn’t seem to mind.

I’m glad, Judy! 🙂 At least I hope memories are good. I never had a Fluffy or any other cat. For me they are a mystery.

I don’t trust cats, you never know what they will do. Because I never had one and couldn’t be trained… 😉
