Signs of spring in Rome

Here you have it, twenty signs of spring from this weekend in Rome.

When in Rome I often don’t visit the usual tourist spots but instead wander around residential areas. Here are twenty views of plants, windows and balconies of Rome’s Monteverde district.

On Saturday it was almost summer (first nine photos), on Sunday it was raining heavily but I found a pause for a stroll (next 10 photos), and today the morning was sunny again (only the last banana is from this morning). I took more quirky photos of signs, roll-ups and doors, and we went to the lovely serene Non-Catholic cemetery as well, as future posts will prove.

Have a lovely spring wherever you are, except if you are down under dressing up and gathering wood. Or in Helsinki. Just a little longer. 😉

  2. You found some great shots as you roamed the streets of Rome. Most of us who have visited the fabulous city miss the neighborhoods.

    1. Thank you, Little Voice! This is true, but just recently I found a blog by a woman who visited Roma and lived just around here in a B&B and was very happy. It’s not so very far from the centre.

    1. Thank you, Vy! You know it! 🙂 I’ve never been to New York but according to films this reminds me of it the most of everything I’ve ever seen.

People lose the weirdest stuff…who lose a belt on the street?? Do they change themselves outside?LOL

In Wisteria Lane they are selling property, mmmhh

    1. Hahha, Sara, you can find a variety of objects everywhere. For this belt you could write a romantic or a horror story. And yes, I was tempted to make a collection of photos of property on sale to help them sell it. 🙂
