What a fly-by week this has been! Before we return back to the basic pack, here is the first part of yesterday’s doors.
They were found in the town of Tuscania which is not in Tuscany but in Lazio, to make guessing harder. The last few days have been HOT. Bestia says concrete, or even worse, hot sand, is not made for his tender paws. Some acclimatisation is in order. It’s going to be a hot one.

It’s amazing how good a well crafted and preserved door can look even if everything else around is crumbling. Loved this collection – specially the green one with the number 4 next to it.

We’ve had a couple of hot, humid days here in the Chicago area as well, although this morning is a bit cooler, which is lovely. I can’t pick a favorite this week, although I enjoyed the peek through the fence.

As usual, so many interesting doors. As my favourite, I pick the battered doors with the pink decoration on it (what a cute tradition!!) because it is flanked so beautifully with the floral bower.
