Rotating suns

“Girasoli” in Italian. The suns that rotate.

Amore tells me that this is only true when they are young. Once old they become too stiff to turn with the sun. I think these are quite new, the season is starting. This is the first field I find this year. And my friend decided to become one of them.

If you want more, here are two sunflower posts from my first blog.

Iowa and Kansas, mmhm. Beautiful 🙂 Mine are mere babies as the growing season allows — they’re ankle high for now — but Oh! When they bloom! Their sunny faces are such a welcome home! 😀

I will. I have actually. The giants are the only ones I shot yet, but they’re still baby giants 😀

    1. Oh yes, I know I should follow her right there among them. 🙂 Or at least return in the afternoon when they would be facing me!
