Here are some instances of plants on Italian houses. Better overgrown than overblown.
These were taken in the last month on our visits to Trastevere in Rome (doors from there coming on Thursday), Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio (all these three locations done with my American friends), Porto Ercole, Sassetta, and Ansedonia (all these three done with my Slovenian visitor). Only the obituaries are from my home town. Not the worst place to end up.
I know that she didn’t mean to, but on the last photo my friend seems to be saying “Basta with this Tuscany!” 😉 Even bestia can’t believe his ears. Nope, never quite enough. Plus your red goes well with that green.

I haven’t been inside any of these to see if they are cold. What does “écolos” mean? Eco-bio-organic? Or schools?

Ahh, going to Slovenia in 2 weeks! 😮 Just too bad! It is extra hot now, but you can imagine. Perfect if you like the beach. Go to Elba, I haven’t been yet but the beaches are gorgeous! Monte Argentario is not bad either. I do NOT recommend strolling around towns in midday. Or possibly you can hide in museums and churches. 🙂 You’ll come back, I’m sure. And thank you!
