Today mom’s cousin Janja from Kranj in Slovenia celebrates her grand round number.
Since I don’t have any aunt (at all! none! terrible!), mom’s two cousins are the closest it gets. While one of them is featured on my blog quite regularly, the other one I don’t see nearly enough. This is my way of saying congratulations to you, Janja, with warmest wishes. ❤
Your Kranj (or better, a part of it), 4th biggest Slovenian city. (Photo: MMM)
On a visit to Piran, from left: you and your son, our first dog Žak, your daughter-in-law, my sister with a child borrowed from the couple next to her, the son of the other mom’s cousin and his wife. (Photo: MMM)

A long time ago. Your son and his wife didn’t have kids yet… (Photo: MMM)
…but now you have two little bodyguards. 🙂 (Photo: BM)
Here you all are. I’m always amazed at the number of boys at family meetings: the two on the left are your grandsons, while the three on the right call “grandma” my other almost aunt (standing on the left). As for me, I can only offer one furry Bestia. 🙂 (Photo: BM)
Happy birthday, vse najboljše, tanti auguri, Janja,
from Fonzie, Marco and Manja!
And here is a song by Gigliola Cinquetti who says that she doesn’t have any age, or in better translation, that she is not old enough. Never old enough – the best way to be.
A lovely bday tribute Manja.

Cousins form life-long bonds as is proven in your pictures. The Slovenian countryside makes me salivate it is so beautiful!
