Day one of Piran

All this was yesterday. We arrived safely after an eight-hour drive and I wanted to swim. Mom took her child to the beach.

The first thing I noticed: mom’s cousin Duša strikes again.

Back alley.

A sail indoors.

A Zappa was here.

To Sarajevo (the name of the restaurant on the left).

Piran is picture-postcard-pretty.

European Union.

Folklorists are in town.

This lady swims with her dog daily.

There they are: flippers for the lady, the orange vest for the dog (lest she has a stroke and drowns).

The beach with deadly slippery steps.

Towards Venice, 2.5 hours away.

I prefer this one.
