WPC: Elements in Piran

Forty-five minutes in the life of a Piran sunset.

Sunsets, especially as deep in tone as this one, are hard not to photograph: constantly changing, overwhelming, and yet as cliché as they come. And yet, sorry not sorry, I’m using this week’s Photo Challenge to show you twenty images from an evening ten days ago when elements came out to play and created all this.

Most of these were taken from the ice-cream vendor/bar at the tip of the peninsula right next to the door featured yesterday.

This is yet another attempt to lure you to Piran on the Slovenian coast, where light ends and has its young, where there is fire on the water without smoke, where lives end and new ones begin.
