Hey, ma and pa

Not the kind of symbolism I’d connect to my parents…

Another one of those things I’d never believe if somebody had told me.

A couple of Slovenian singers has done their takes on parents. Jani Kovačič sings “a fridge is my mother, my father is a TV set”. Pero Lovšin had his version: “My mother is a lightning, my father is a thunder.”

How could I put it better? I’d never believe that my father would become a highly efficient gardener (together with mom, of course), and that mother would buy an accordion.

Truth be told, it has an USB port, plenty of songs loaded and it plays by itself. But you’d never guess.

And here is the song that inspired the title. Nothing wrong with ya all, though. Please, as you were. I just like the groove.

I agree, groovy tune. My mother would be a martini glass and my dad would be a brick wall — that’s the same, right? lol I wonder what my kids would say about me? Heh.

    1. Oh, Joey, have you done a quick survey yet? It could be anonymous… I bet my dog would say that we are both a couple of computerheads. :p

I have seen a lot of warnings that you can not give your child’s pictures online. But no one warns about publishing photos of your parents.

    1. Yes. Sorry for all the fan mail. 😀
