Not just me, the entire Slovenia is waiting for the next basketball game on Tuesday and the winking first medal from any championships. Only three more games left. I loved the commentary by an American commentator caught online: “I like the culture of this group.”
Here are some others who are waiting. Slovenian proverb says: “Kdor čaka, dočaka.” Waiting pays off. (Click on the first photo and let’s wait together.)
well to copy the commentator’s words: “I like the culture of this…” POST!
the laundry and the grape bins are my fav… and those are some dried peach trees – oh my
ah – that translation sounds deep.
like go the distance …?
and I told my hubs about something you said –
we were walking on this newly opened bridge (kinda a big deal in town) and there were protestors and I grabbed photos – and then interviewed a hippy girl with dreads.
it was fun.
I said “I am photo’s out”
and literally a minute later took a photo of a heron.
Photo’d out? – he asked and chuckled.
he knew it was a blogger thing.
and then I mentioned what you told me – cos it was really fun M-cubed.
How I read your post about being phot’d out, burned out etc.
and then you chimed back….
“just took 33 photos this morning”
ha
oh so good.
Hehe, great. Herons would do that to you. And I always say that by blogging we ripple. In this post are some of the 33: the birds, the vineyard, the cat and the fridge magnets.
😀 Good to know, Sara! Today I went to Twitter after a while to see about Irma, but then I saw many posts on Livorno and didn’t know what happened! And then I did. 😦 It’s two hours away, we had just a thunderstorm in the night. What about basketball, are you watching? I didn’t watch Italy play but I see you are in the similar position as Slovenia: on Tuesday playing for semifinals! Bravi noi! 😉 And we can only meet in the finals, imagine that!! Good luck against Serbia! (We have Latvia.)
It’s awful…they have started to show even certain events of the Olympics through payTV (even if it’s against the rules of the Olympic Games which declare they should be available to everyone) I’m so angry 👿
Ohh, you’re very welcome. And I forgot to ask Germany to beat Spain today so that we (Slovenia) have an easier way to the basketball Euro finals. 😉 (Joooke! Respect to Germany!)
This is a wonderful gallery of waiting in many forms, Manja. The sunflowers still make a great photo! And I love the laundry of course…and all the others as well.

Thanks, Prior, I’m so glad you like it, lovely what you say! 🙂 The word-by-word translation would be “Who waits, waits through.” Or something. 😀

What happened in Livorno is awful…
I love all kind of sports, but unfortunately they are showing basketball only on payTV and I don’t have it *sigh* Good luck against Latvia!

Only on payTV! 😮 Che brutto! In Slovenia people would lynch somebody if that happened. 😀
