Here there are, cups for Slovenia and its basketball team who are the champions of Europe.
No matter how the best two players couldn’t play till the end of yesterday’s finals, which two minutes before the end was still undecided: the youngest hurt his ankle in the middle of the third quarter and couldn’t return, while the captain (and the MVP of the tournament) had such cramps that in the last quarter he barely played and missed everything after scoring 35 points in the previous three. So the rest of the team had to win it, and they did. Everybody did.
This coast-to-coast symbolises well the spirit of this team, even though the man himself – the name you better remember: Luka Dončić – had to sit it out after his injury and watch his teammates do it, for him and for all of us.
I caught a glimpse of these pots in Piran about two months ago, before I went coast-to-coast myself, and knew they would come in handy one day. They sort of kind of look like trophies, no? Anyway, I hope they make you happy. Even though it’s not quite clear how they water them…

Pour water from the roof? Something to think about indeed. Lovely photos!

Hm, that’s always an option, but one would need to be pretty precise. 😀 Or drench the wall and everything under. Thank you for what appeared to be your first comment on my blog! 🙂

Hihi, flaw=pomanjkljivost. Flawless=perfect. Let’s call it that! 🙂 Mami knows exactly where it is, you should go more often to the beach. 😉

I’m guessing rain gets them mostly, but I could spray down a wall from that roof 🙂 Pretty stuff!

Thanks, Joey. If they rely on rain only, no wonder some have dried.

I love that wall of flowerpots. It must have been a labour of love for someone – and continues to be because it can’t be easy to take care of them!

Thank you, Joanne. I love it too. It’s hidden just enough so that not everybody sees it.

Which makes it even more special because it feels personal 🙂
