I found this trio of Caldana snaps as I was going through last October photos for my yesterday’s post and wanted to post all three.
Caldana was the first town with the autumn sagra that we visited with my parents. Three more followed in a single day. That’s Tuscany for you. I especially liked this ancient-seeming coat of arms.

I love balconies. They are glimpses into someone’s real personality.

Caldana? Do people there feel hot all of a sudden?
… Ok, I’ll be grabbing me coat. 😀

Hihi, Fabrizio, you mean the official Hot Flashes town? Not yet but firmly on the way…

Coat of arms are interesting, aren’t they? My husband’s is a bull wearing a Viking helmet and his tongue is sticking out!

Thank you, Jan. I think it’s swell to have an own coat-of-arms. 😮 I’ve never thought about what mine would show.

Thank you, Prior. 🙂 The first photo is not even of the same balcony as the other two. At first I didn’t realise this.

I love these coats-of-arms. Now I want one too! I suspect these have been hand-made with bits of leftover fabric. Some people are so creative!

Thanks, Joanne. I’m not sure if this is the official coat-of-arms of the town or what. They sure are pretty.
