Seven black and white days

You might have seen it around, especially on Facebook, the black and white photo challenge.

I have, half hoping I don’t get nominated because I don’t quite trust my b&w skills, but now that my bird-, Italy- and doorloving friend Liz from Fetching the World kindly invited me, I’m willing and ready to take part.

You are supposed to invite a new person every day but there is this thing about invitations and nominations – I hate doing it. Everybody I follow are worth it. So I will not do it, with one exception. I would love it if my snaphappy friend Snow that (luckily) Melts Somewhere (Else) took a moment every day and click on something around her other than nappies (even though that could be interesting :D). But if that is too much of a chore, I’ll understand too.

I loved the reaction by the B&W photographer I love the most (and yet I’m behind with her blogs as well). I wrote on FB that inviting her to do it would be like inviting her to breathe. She replied that it cracked her up and she was laughing about it all day. After all, One Day One Image is her trademark.

Here we go then. Seven Days, seven black and white photos of your life. No humans, no explanations. This was Day 1 of 7. I will not post on my blog daily, just on Facebook (where you are invited to be friends as well), but I will post all seven photos here once the week is done if they amount to anything worthwhile.

I said I won’t be nominating people but I wish to rephrase that: I invite you ALL. How hard can it be? (Hm… reply: very!)
