Even though I’m aware that I should be posting my favourites from the year that is ending, I shall use this opportunity and this post to complete my Calendar 2016 project.
Throughout the year I have been posting selections of twelve (or more) photos for each separate month in 2016. You can find all posts here.
Now I shall choose my favourites and compile the calendar as I had initially intended, with one photo per month. I’m two years too late but who is counting?
The project shall continue with photos from January 2017 in the new year on my new blog since this one is breathing its last breaths. The new blog is called Mexi Movie the Third and it’s here: https://manjameximovie3.wordpress.com/. Make sure you find the follow button before I go quiet on this one.
And if I really put my mind to it, I might get a proper calendar made one of these years.
Have a good one and happy holidays!

I love your choices! I’ve been toying with a calendar idea, too. Maybe I’ll get around to it this year.

Thank you, Farmgirl. I love especially that it wasn’t staged at all. They just aligned like that. 🙂

Hey, RayNot! This blog will still be here in all its glory. 🙂 If a comment comes, I shall still reply, I just won’t post here anymore but on the new URL address, and I see that you’ve already started following the new blog. Good girl! 😉
Oh, and I’ve watched all the Born in the USSR series and it’s amazing!! I don’t think many people abroad know how it is to live there.

As always, fantastic images, Manja. I’m very sad at the thought you are closing this blog. I’ll miss your witty tales and lovely photos. Best wishes for happy writing on your new blog!

Ohh, Donna, don’t be sad, I’m just moving! I’m sure it will all continue on the new blog (and I see that you’ve subscribed already, great), even if in a slightly different format. I don’t plan to cut down much on anything that has gone on until now. And thank you for your kind words, always. Happy holidays!

Manja, Good to hear you will keep going with your lovely photos AND stories. I mistakenly understood from one of your posts that you were transitioning to more of a “Writer’s” blog. Glad to hear I misunderstood! I look forward to seeing your posts in 2018. Happy Holidays to you as well.

Oh, you read that right. At first the idea was to start a writer’s blog and I did it, but only posted 7 posts in 7 months. And now, since this blog is running out of space, I figure I’ll use that same URL for my regular blog without deleting those 7 posts, only changing the name of the blog. The content should be more or less the same, just the blog’s theme will be different.

They’re all fabulous. Bestia always wins for me 🙂
I took a similar photo of a lady bug on a sunflower leaf — so similar, I thought at first yours was mine! Hah!

Hey, Joey! Bestia wins so much that I almost posted only his photos. 😀 I had to snap my fingers. Mine is not a sunflower leaf but they go together so well, don’t they, red on green. Just a few minutes ago I was thinking if you got to visit the Russians. 🙂 Happy celebration tomorrow and beyond.
