Final Ljubljana report

This is how I spent the second part of my Slovenia vacations.

I’ve showed you how day 1 was won, some doors, windows and wall scribbles from day 2, how I spent the first week with family and friends waiting for the sun, and all doors of one Saturday.

Here are the last few days as my camera saw them. They were colourful, contrasting, cultural and culinary. And in the end we gave each other gifts and said goodbye until the next year when all will be better, and we won’t even notice it, as usual. If for no other reason, because we are still around.

And if you haven’t noticed yet, this blog is about to close. Don’t be sad, I shall continue over there, with photos as much as words. The format will be a bit different but that’s what makes life exciting, they say. The featured photo is my next blog’s header. Always welcome!

Lots of lights and shadow on display here, those really appeal to me. Love the tea shot, too. Excellent choice for a header. All that texture. Inviting.
Really love Bestia in the hall, too.
    Gorgeous typewriter! O_O OOH!
And I have NEVER seen plants like that! I’m so curious!

    1. Thank you, Joey. I’m glad you agree with the header. I’m sorry now that I didn’t inquire about the plants. Was too busy taking this photo in hiding. :p Not asking for permission again – that door experience was disagreeable.

I have been away from WordPress; a new year, a new start. All your images are wonderful, but that typewriter is fabulous!!!

  5. Some lovely pics here! Love that typewriter and that you were lulled to sleep by one. Love the blue shop wall and the sweater plants! And the go go go car! 😀 If this won’t bring us all a happy 2018, I don’t know what will! ❤

Oh that’s great, will do! (You must have been blogging a ton to fill it up, there’s much to learn from you!)

      2. Up to 20 photos per post for a bit more than 1 year and a half, not daily but often. To learn from me? Pay for the bigger pack! 😀 I won’t. I find it unstimulating to pay in order to work which blogging is. 🙂

Do you monetise your blog at all? You should! Given you are so prolific!!

      4. 😮 I don’t. Do you? I don’t even know how to go about.

Unfortunately I’m terrible at that. I only like producing content that drives me, rather than content that is dictated by others in order to drive content. And I’m a social media hermit. I think it helps to have a strong social media following.

      6. Oh yes, with you on that all the way, self-driven. I don’t like to change to be noticed more. Why did you mention it, if I may ask? Making money?

      7. Jolene says:

Just curious whether blogs like yours (which is so prolific) would be considering it. If it’s a side venture – “social influencer” I think the term is 🙂

      8. 😀 Sounds terrible. I’d love to influence people with what I think not with what somebody tells me I must endorse for payment. How do you define prolific? Many posts in a month?

      9. Jolene says:

Yea, I think I define prolific as regular, consistent and quality content. That’s just my small world view haha. You tick all those boxes, kudos to you!

      10. Thank you truly, these are good words. 🙂 Alas, not something that pays, as we have discovered by looking around. Actually, it’s my life-long riddle to solve: how to earn money without producing fluff. Thank you for the conversation, Jolene. I cherish your opinion and am always glad to see you around.

Well, I don’t think we are dissimilar in our views. It’s been my life long riddle to get a side venture…! Of course, without compromising on personal values. Have a great day!!
