Those who are doing nothing but waiting for the big thing are missing out. It’s details that make our lives worth living.
Blessed be all those who know what they want, who have desires and ideas. Just like every day they will fill today with something, no matter how little, modest, barely visible.

I’ve always been taking photos, and the best compliment I got was from a friend who said that my photos always need to be carefully examined. Even when I don’t take photos I look, and sometimes a little something I see can make my day. That’s why it’s so lovely to share my glimpses, in the hope that somebody out there will feel something of the same nature.
A forgotten look-up bit for last week’s challenge. Ljubljana.
In Orbetello somebody is entering the Greek period.
Niki de Saint Phalle, the queen of the detail.
In her Tarot Garden even the grill is noteworthy.
What tourists would like to do too in Roma’s Piazza Navona.
Piazza Navona: Hope also rises. Even if it’s not a book she is holding. I had to look three times at this photo to realise this.
Some people are worried about this kind of things. Monteverde, Roma.
Whereas some others know that we are free. Ljubljana. Nothing else required to complete my day.
Another daymaker, in Roma: “Not since always but for ever.”
This is a Croatian ferryboat. They take your children away before they hit five. Presumably in order to learn to spell.
Beware: A gang of Slovenians spotted near a Siena bank. Too bad they are not called “Robin Hoods”.
Thank you for all the fish, Porto Santo Stefano.
In Grožnjan, Croatia, they believe a species is just a detail.
Nature sprinkles details everywhere generously. Monte Argentario.
One just needs to find them. The Tiber, Roma.
And sometimes mom does it instead.
Happiness is little, ordinary and far from striking, and there are many who are not able to see it.

This is one of those posts that make me smile and smile, a little of this, a little of that. Good stuff. We are so busy doing the things we forget to look around.
I’m so glad that you do, Suvi! I have many more, since I tend to read everything I see. Just today I took a good one, in Italian. Will post in the coming days.

Great pics, love the cat waiting for the dog picture to come alive (as I interpret it!) and the writings on the walls. Hey, where are my 💎’s?
