WPC: Relax, don’t (over)do it

No matter how people predominantly use them for work, to me boats spell relax.

But first, a short weekend review of the last week on my blog. To be found:

  1. A walk around my immediate vicinity to show you the vineyard colours, green grass and all that occurs this time of year;
  2. a selection of windows from our Tuscany 4-town autumn feast dash for Monday Window challenge, including one with mom;
  3. my answers to 36 questions that should be asked on the first date with added photos from my first Italian visit;
  4. a cheeky Orvieto train station bench;
  5. the first half of various Caldana doors on Thursday;
  6. five 100-word stories from Greece and one photo of a vicious animal.

And now boats. I worked hard to minimise the amount of photos, but there are still five over my usual limit of 20 per post. That’s fine, yesterday there was only one. So cool to have only yourself to answer to.

    Going out on a motor boat is relaxing for me but with the sailing boat it’s just hard labour, LOL 😛 I enjoyed your photos!

    1. Thanks, Suvi. I was lucky that one time sailing – too much or too little wind had us motor most of the time. Besides – the guys needed one hand for the beer. 😀

  3. You can always get me with boats. Surprisingly, my favorite was the Queen Victoria peeking out from behind the buildings in Trieste. Really nice composition. But of course I also loved the sailboats and colorful wooden skiffs .

    There are some great photos here but for me less would really have been more. The headline photo of the two weathered rowing boats is gorgeous as is the one with two rowing boats on clear, sunlit water. Put those two together with a couple of others and you’d have a wonderful post with more to spare for next time!

    1. But, Judith, what if I die? 😀 No, I know what you mean and I agree. I could have made many posts with these. However, this is not just a post but a collection of photos from my “Boat” folder gathered with time, and narrowing the collected 50 photos down to a half was quite a feat. Thank you in any case.

        In that case 25 was a very modest selection! I enjoyed the post, thanks.
